straightforward. All you need to get started is a zip code.
How to
Use the Pharmacy Locator
* The pharmacy locator tool requires a zip
code. This is a mandatory field as it is the key to the pharmacy database
search.
* You may also enter optional search criteria to narrow the
search (such as pharmacy name, address, city, and state).
* The
pharmacy name search is a full-text search. In other words, you may enter a
partial pharmacy name (e.g. “Wal”) and the search logic will retrieve
all pharmacies in your designated zip code and radius beginning with those
letters (e.g. Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc.).
* You may specify the
distance of the search radius (5, 10, 25, or 50 miles). The default radius
distance is five miles.
* The search result mileage is calculated from
the center of the zip code you provide to the pharmacy. The more specific you
are in identifying your exact location, the more accurate the search. You may
search using several methods:
Zip Code – By entering only
the zip code, the search will begin from the geographic center of the specified
zip.
Address – Enter street address and zip code (you may
also choose to include city and state) to measure the distance from your exact
location to the pharmacies within your specified mileage range.
Nearest Crossroads – If you enter the nearest major
intersection and zip code, the search logic will calculate the distance from
the point where the streets intersect (if found) to the pharmacies.
